Please note that the result may vary, together with plans, prices and promotions available at your address, as we process your order and connection
Installation times will vary, once your application has been submitted NBN will perform a scope of work and provide estimates of build completion.
Estimated completion time is 30 business days from application, however in some cases where additional works are required or other delays occurred this time frame can be extended.
When you sign up for a UBT NBN plan, you can either purchase a new Wi-Fi router or you may choose to bring your own router.
If you choose to byo modem or router, you will need to check if you’re using a compatible modem or router for your NBN connection type. Additionally, our support team may not have the technical knowledge to troubleshoot issues in relation to all types and brands of modems and routers, so if you’re unsure, we recommend new customers purchase a new router during the sign-up process.
You can purchase a compatible router when signing up with UBT.
Most Wi-Fi routers and cables are compatible with UBT NBN Speed Tiers however not all Wi-Fi routers and cables are compatible with higher plan speed, For nbn plans higher than 100Mbps, you may need to change settings on your router, upgrade your router, and/or upgrade your Ethernet cabling to receive the higher speeds.
